Newcastle United will be looking to get their European charge back on track on Sunday when they host Norwich City in the Premier League.

The Magpies suffered an agonising last-minute defeat to Arsenal on Monday night as they stretched their winless streak to four matches.

Meanwhile, Norwich boss Paul Lambert has said that he will not rest until his side are mathematically safe from relegation.

A good start to the season is likely to keep the Canaries in the Premier League, and they may yet fancy themselves when they make the trip to the Sports Direct Arena.

Cheick Tiote is a fitness doubt for Newcastle following a hamstring injury picked up against Arsenal, while Danny Simpson is likely to recover from an abductor strain.

Jonny Howson returns to the Norwich squad after recovering from a virus, and Steve Morison could force his way back into the starting lineup.

Current form:

Newcastle: WWLDDL
