Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong insists that the club's improvement in form is purely down to hard work.

Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong has admitted that he is "delighted" with the club's surge up the Premier League table.

The Canaries has moved up to 12th place after a run of eight matches without defeat and the Cameroon international believes it is a result of working hard in training.

Bassong told talkSPORT: "After all the work we've done from the start of the season up to now, we're really delighted about how things are coming along.

"I'm not able to say one thing that made us change like this. I think it's going to be pretty basic but it's just the work. We just work hard in training week in, week out, every day.

"A lot of players came in to the team this season so perhaps it took time for us to adapt and after the poor start we had I think it could only get better."

Bassong has made 13 appearances for Norwich this season after he moved to Carrow Road from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer.
