Steve Bruce has said that Hull City and Norwich City have reached a "stalemate" in their negotiations over the transfer of Robbie Brady.
Earlier this month, Hull boss Bruce slammed Norwich's initial bids for the Irishman before admitting that the midfielder's exit was inevitable.
However, Norwich are yet to meet Hull's valuation and until they do so, Bruce says that he will remain a Hull player.
"As we stand at the minute it seems like a bit of a stalemate," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.
"They have put in a bid 10 days ago which was rejected and I hope they don't make another one.
"We have made a stance on it and made ourselves pretty clear. Unless they meet the valuation that the owners want then he will remain a Hull City player. It is as simple as that."
Brady, who has a year left on his Hull contract, made 27 Premier League appearances last season as the Tigers were relegated.
