Stefano Sorrentino agrees to join Palermo permanently after the club decided to buy their 50% share from Chievo.

Palermo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino has decided to stay with the relegated side following the club's decision to purchase Chievo's 50% share of him.

Sorrentino moved to Palermo last season on a temporary basis, but will now join the club permanently to help with the Serie B promotion campaign.

"Palermo have exercised their right to take full ownership of Stefano Sorrentino from Chievo," the club announced on their website.

Sorrentino made 15 appearances for Palermo last season and has also played for Torino and AEK Athens.
