Team News: Peterborough unchanged for Port Vale trip

Darren Ferguson names an unchanged Peterborough United XI for the visit to Port Vale in League One, while Valiants boss Micky Adams returns to the dugout following a three-game absence.

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has named an unchanged team for the visit to Port Vale in League One today.

Strikers Britt Assombalonga and Tyrone Barnett continue in attack for Posh following last week's 2-0 victory over Preston North End.

Meanwhile, one of the most significant returns for Port Vale is that of manager Micky Adams, who returns to the dugout having missed the previous three fixtures after undergoing hip surgery in September.

Veteran striker Lee Hughes comes in for Ben Williamson, as the Valiants look to shake off the disappointment of being knocked out of the Johnstone Paint Trophy at home to Rochdale on Tuesday.

Port Vale: Neal; Yates, Robertson, Chilvers, Dickinson; Loft, Pope, Lines, Jones; Griffith, Hughes

Peterborough United: Olejnik; Alcock, Zakuani, Bostwick, Swanson; Payne, Rowe, McCann, Taylor; Assombalonga, Barnett
