Mark Little agrees new deal with Peterborough United

Defender Mark Little signs a new 11-month contract with Peterborough United.

Peterborough United defender Mark Little has signed a fresh deal with the club.

The 24-year-old, who had rejected a new deal earlier in the summer, has now put pen to paper on an 11-month contract at London Road.

"I went on trial to a few different clubs and tried to stay in the Championship but it hasn't worked out," he told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"But the club's been good enough to give my old job back. I'm currently searching for somewhere to live because I didn't think I'd be coming back.

"So I'll be house hunting. But bottom line is I'm here now and we're going to win the league."

Little made 43 appearances for Peterborough last season as the club were relegated from the Championship.
