The visitors also locked horns with the European and Nations League champions recently, as goals from Aleksandar Mitrovic and Filip Kostic rescued a 2-2 draw for Dragan Stojkovic's side at the weekend.

The signs are overwhelmingly positive for Serbia after two matches, and Stojkovic has an abundance of options from the bench as he aims to keep his players firing on all cylinders for their final game of the month. Azerbaijan deserve praise for their stellar showing against Portugal, but the confidence in the visitors' camp is sky high, and we are backing Serbia to remain at the top of the pile with a convincing win in Baku.

Having earned a draw with Slovakia on matchday one, Cyprus have the opportunity to move ahead of their opponents with success in Nicosia.

While we expect a competitive encounter in Nicosia, supporters will not necessarily see many goals. Nevertheless, Slovenia's extra quality in the final third should shine through at some stage, earning them a crucial win in the context of the group.

Aiming to keep the momentum going from their shock victory over the Republic of Ireland, Luxembourg prepare for battle against Portugal in Tuesday's World Cup Qualifying bout in Group A.
While the hosts kicked off the road to Qatar in perfect fashion last time out, Portugal dropped two points in a highly controversial 2-2 draw with Serbia on Saturday night.

Portugal have flattered to deceive somewhat during their opening two matches, but Ronaldo and co will be more determined than ever to respond to their latest setback this week. The hosts command plenty of respect after overcoming the Irish on their own turf, but Santos's side should have too much quality for the Red Lions, and we can only envisage a comfortable win for Portugal here.

Belgium vs. Belarus (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Belgium will be looking to return to winning ways in Group E when they continue their 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign at home to Belarus on Tuesday night.
Roberto Martinez's side, who sit second in the section, played out a 1-1 draw with Czech Republic on Saturday, while Belarus will enter this match off the back of a 4-2 home victory over Estonia.

Belarus are capable of making it tough for Belgium, who were far from their best last time out; Martinez will have his players fired up to return to winning ways in Group E, though, and we are finding it difficult to back against the Red Devils in Leuven.

The hosts will aim to kickstart their World Cup Qualifying campaign after they were on the losing end in their opening fixture.

The game is expected to be an intense battle between two teams who are favourites to finish as runners-up behind Belgium. We fancy the teams to match each other all the way and expect the points to be split in the end.

The Netherlands will aim to end the month on a high when they travel to Gibraltar for the third match of their World Cup Qualifying campaign in Group G.
Frank de Boer's men cruised past Latvia 2-0 last time out, whereas Gibraltar's woes continued with a 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Montenegro on matchday two.

Gibraltar will relish the chance to test their skills against some of Europe's most exciting talents, but this game is surely a foregone conclusion from the first whistle. The Netherlands are expected to utilise their impressive squad depth and will have no problem easing to victory at the Victoria Stadium, so we are backing a five-star performance and five-goal triumph for De Boer's side this week.

Montenegro vs. Norway (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Montenegro play host to Norway on Tuesday evening with the opportunity to open up a six-point margin between themselves and their opponents in Group G.
However, despite their one-sided defeat to Turkey at the weekend, Norway will move back into contention with victory in Podgorica.
We say: Montenegro 2-2 Norway
With Haaland in their attack, it is difficult for anyone to dismiss Norway's chances against any opposition. Nevertheless, their defence looks vulnerable right now, and we expect a resurgent Montenegro to earn a share of the spoils.

After marking themselves out as contenders for top spot in World Cup Qualifying Group G with spectacular back-to-back wins, Turkey seek to continue their impressive start to the campaign against lowly Latvia on Tuesday evening.
While the hosts were storming towards six points from six last time out, their 136th-ranked visitors were fortunate to lose only 2-0 to the Netherlands and remain pointless in a particularly challenging section.
We say: Turkey 3-0 Latvia
Even if Senol Gunes does resort to resting one or two bigger names against Latvia this week, such is Turkey's growing squad depth, that their back-up boys are more than capable of producing another incisive attacking display.
Potentially heading into the Euros - and a lengthy hiatus before qualifying resumes in the autumn - with a third straight success will keep the feelgood factor glowing in the Turkish camp.

Two teams who enjoyed positive results on matchday two in World Cup Qualifying Group H prepare to face off at Stadion Rujevica on Tuesday as Croatia play host to Malta.
The hosts overcame Cyprus 1-0 to kickstart their road to Qatar last time out, while Malta managed to hold Slovakia to a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Malta's goal-laden games make for good viewing for the neutrals, but Croatia will be quick to quell any threat from Mangia's men here as they seek to improve their own clinical nature in front of goal. The 142 places between Slovakia and Malta in the world rankings had no effect on the visitors at the weekend, but we do not expect lightning to strike twice here and are backing Croatia to get the job done with minimal trouble.

On the back of successive draws, Slovakia welcome the 2018 World Cup hosts to Trnava aware that they can ill-afford defeat if they want to keep pace with the nations vying for a playoff spot.

On current form, there is little reason for anyone to give Slovakia much of a chance on Tuesday night. However, this group of players can still match their opponents for ability, and we expect a stronger performance from the hosts in this game.
