Clint Hill: 'We got a point from a difficult place in draw at Aston Villa'

Queens Park Rangers captain Clint Hill wants to focus on the positives of gaining a point on the road following the team's 3-3 draw at Aston Villa.

Queens Park Rangers captain Clint Hill has said that his side will take some positives following their 3-3 draw away at Aston Villa.

The relegation strugglers had looked on course to grab three vital away points at Villa Park, until Christian Benteke returned to seal a hat-trick in the 83rd minute and earn the hosts a point.

"It was a heck of a game to watch I suppose. We were disappointed with the first half but going up 3-2 with five minutes to go you think you have the three points but they go up and score from the free kick," said Hill, according to BBC Sport.

"The positive is we got a point at a difficult place to go and we have dragged teams into the relegation fight.

"I'm glad to have got my first Premier League goal, it has been bugging me for years, I am 37-year-old."

QPR currently hold 18th spot in the league standings with six games remaining this season.
