Park Ji-Sung: "Results will come soon"

Captain Park Ji-Sung is certain that Queens Park Rangers will soon find some winning form in the Premier League.

Queens Park Rangers captain Park Ji-Sung has expressed his belief that his side are not far away from recording their first win of the new Premier League season.

Mark Hughes's side have collected just two points from their opening five matches and as a result find themselves 19th in the table.

However, skipper Park is "confident" that the R's will soon discover some winning form.

"Results will come soon. I am confident of that and so are my teammates," he told the club's official website. "The league table isn't a true indicator of where we are in terms of our performances. We're only five games into the season.

"We will continue to work hard and the points will come."

QPR's latest failure to win saw them lose 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur yesterday afternoon in a match that they dominated for large parts.

Discussing that result, Park admitted that he was still shocked by the outcome.

"It's incredible that we didn't win the game," he added. "We deserved to win and were the better side.

"We played well at home to Chelsea last weekend and then continued that at White Hart Lane. We were so dominant in the first half."

QPR's next outing is a home encounter against London rivals West Ham United at Loftus Road a week today.
