Neil Warnock says that Queens Park Rangers' current struggles in the Premier League are not his fault.

Former Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has hit out at Mark Hughes for suggesting that the club's current Premier League struggles are his fault.

The Hoops were beaten 3-1 at Loftus Road at the hands of fellow relegation battlers Southampton on Saturday, leaving a four-point gap between the bottom two sides.

Hughes last week said that saving QPR from the drop last season was one of his greatest achievements, but Warnock has blasted the current boss for the comments and is adamant that the Londoners no longer possess a great team spirit.

Asked if he was keeping an eye on events at Loftus Road, he replied: "Of course I am. You know how bitter I felt [about being sacked].

"There are quotes coming out sometimes from the current manager and I don't accept it. We're trying to get away from last year but I bet they wish they were [in the same position as] last year this time.

"I think people should just look after their own house, put their own house in order. I thought we had a great and a dressing room spirit and you probably have to look at that and think, 'have they got one now?'"

Warnock is currently the manager of Championship outfit Leeds United.
