Mark Hughes: 'Anton Ferdinand may snub 'Kick It Out' again'

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes says that Anton Ferdinand and a host of his players may refuse to wear a 'Kick It Out' T-shirt once again this weekend.

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has suggested that defender Anton Ferdinand may continue to snub the 'Kick It Out' campaign this weekend.

Players are expected to wear anti-racism T-shirts again ahead of their Premier League encounter with Arsenal but Hughes has insisted that "nothing's changed" following Ferdinand's decision not to wear the top out of protest last week.

"I've not discussed it with him this week," said Hughes. "Obviously he didn't last weekend and nothing's changed to any great extent. I'm not sure if Anton or any of the other guys who felt that they didn't want to wear the T-shirt will wear it."

Ferdinand and his brother Rio released a joint statement claiming that the fight against racism needs to improve.
