Harry Redknapp eyes "one or two" new signings

QPR boss Harry Redknapp reveals that he is looking to bring in "one or two" new players ahead of the Championship season.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he is looking to bring in "one or two" new players before the start of the season.

The R's are currently getting ready for a campaign in the Championship after failing to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

"Pre-season is all about bedding people in and getting a good group of lads together," Redknapp told the club's official website. "If we can get one or two in who are the right types of people, the right types of character – that will be key for us.

"If we can get the right players in, we'll be bang in it, that's for sure.

"I'm looking forward to it. I want to get promoted for sure, to get back in the Premier League."

QPR begin their bid for promotion at home to Sheffield Wednesday on August 3.
