Reading boss Brian McDermott reveals that he is in the process of talking to a number of transfer targets.

Reading manager Brian McDermott has revealed that he is in the process of talking to some of his transfer targets.

The 51-year-old is currently preparing the Royals for life back in the Premier League following their promotion from the Championship last season.

"We have got some players we are trying to bring in at the moment," he told getreading. "June is quite a quiet month for that, but we are in talks with a number of players as we speak.

"We have our targets and we will see what happens."

Reading have already secured the services of Garath McCleary from Nottingham Forest for the new campaign.
