The 19-year-old, who recently signed a contract extension with the Royals, will look to gain first-team experience with the League Two side.
The defender is a graduate of Reading's academy, and made 26 appearances for the Under-21s side last season.
Arnold will link up with the Wycombe squad when their pre-season training begins at the end of the month.
