Carlo Ancelotti: 'Judge me at end of season'

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti does not believe that his future at the Bernabeu will depend on the upcoming Champions League quarter-final against Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has asked his doubters to judge him at the end of the season.

Despite leading Los Blancos to a Copa del Rey and Champions League double last season, it has been claimed that a trophyless season this time around would bring his future into doubt.

The Italian, however, does not believe that his future will depend on the upcoming Champions League quarter-final against Atletico Madrid.

"I don't think so, it depends on the work carried out over a season and this game simply forms a part of the season. I feel the time to judge my performance is at the end of the campaign and not now," Ancelotti told reporters.

Real Madrid are currently two points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona in their domestic table.
