Former Real Madrid midfielder Luis Figo has tipped the Spanish side to win a fourth consecutive Champions League title.
The 46-year-old triumphed with Los Blancos in the competition 16 years ago and thinks that the club still have a chance at continental glory this time despite the side's domestic woes, which see them sit nine points adrift of leaders Barcelona.
"[Barcelona and Madrid] both have the same chances. Now a little bit more Real Madrid because they've already played the first game and they have a good result in Amsterdam but Real Madrid are always one of the favourites," Figo told Sports Mole.
"Results are not regular but the history of the competition says you never have to put Real Madrid out of the favourites."
Madrid have a 2-1 advantage over Ajax heading into the second leg of their last-16 tie with Ajax early next month.
