Osasuna vs. Valladolid (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Real Valladolid will be bidding to make it three straight La Liga victories when they travel to Osasuna on Sunday afternoon.

The visitors are currently 11th in Spain's top flight, boasting 14 points from their opening 11 games of the season, while Osasuna have picked up 17 points to sit in eighth position in the table.

We say: Osasuna 1-1 Real Valladolid

Real Valladolid have only lost one of their last five league matches, while four of the last five La Liga fixtures between these two sides have finished level. Osasuna will be the favourites at home, but we are expecting the points to be shared on Sunday afternoon.

Real Madrid vs. Girona (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Real Madrid will be aiming to make it five straight wins in La Liga when they resume their domestic campaign at home to Girona on Sunday afternoon.

Los Blancos are currently top of the table, three points clear of second-placed Barcelona, while Girona occupy 18th position, having only picked up nine points from their opening 11 matches of the season.

We say: Real Madrid 3-0 Girona

Girona certainly know what it takes to beat Real Madrid, but we are finding it very difficult to back the visitors to pick up a positive result in this contest. Ancelotti's side will be fired up to recover from their first loss of the 2022-23 campaign, and we are expecting it to be a comfortable match for the champions.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Villarreal (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Athletic Bilbao will be bidding to bounce back from their heavy defeat to Barcelona when they resume their La Liga campaign at home to Villarreal on Sunday night.

The home side are currently sixth in the table, boasting 18 points from their opening 11 matches of the season, while Villarreal sit seventh, also collecting 18 points in Spain's top flight thus far.

We say: Athletic Bilbao 2-2 Villarreal

There is not a huge difference in terms of the quality of these two sides, and we are expecting an open and entertaining contest on Sunday. Both managers would surely be content with a point here, and we are finding it difficult to separate them at San Mames.

Real Sociedad vs. Betis (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Two teams that will expect to be in the mix for the top four in La Liga come the end of the campaign will lock horns on Sunday evening, with Real Sociedad welcoming Real Betis to Reale Arena.

The home side are currently fourth in Spain's top flight, boasting 22 points from their opening 11 matches of the season, while Real Betis sit fifth, two points behind their opponents this weekend.

We say: Real Sociedad 1-1 Real Betis

This is a really difficult match to call, especially as both sides were in Europa League action on Thursday night. There is not much to choose between them in terms of quality, and despite Real Sociedad's excellent form of late, we are backing Real Betis to secure a share of the spoils in this match.
