Angel Di Maria will return to training with Real Madrid next week following a thigh injury.

Real Madrid's Argentine winger Angel Di Maria will return to training next week.

The 24-year-old has spent recent weeks on the sidelines with a thigh complaint.

Despite expecting to have Di Maria at his disposal later this month, coach Jose Mourinho has insisted that he will be taking "no risks" over the midfielder's fitness.

"I think Di Maria may be able to start training again next week, but we'll take no risks," Mourinho told the club's official website.

"The end of March and all of April will be complicated, so we're going to slow it down and prepare him well for what's to come next month."

Di Maria joined Los Blancos in 2010 from Benfica.
