Gonzalo Higuain's father believes that his son will stay with Real Madrid, despite reported interest from Juventus.
The Serie A club are believed to be eager to secure the services of the Argentinian during the summer.
Jorge Higuain has admitted that it is an "honour" to be linked with Juve, but expects Gonzalo to start next season as a Real player.
"The interest from Juve is an honour. Now though Gonzalo is only thinking about Madrid," he told Tuttosport. "In May we can talk.
"Juve have been interested for over a year, but Gonzalo intends to stay in Madrid.
"For now any thoughts of a move to a club like Juventus remains only a matter of pride. It is too soon, but in May my son will look at the situation and we will then be able to talk to them."
Higuain joined Real in 2007 from River Plate.
