Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed that he has big plans that will allow the club to compete with Europe's elite.
De Laurentiis wants to improve Napoli's infastrcutrue so that they can maintain a Champions League place on a regular basis.
Walter Mazzarri's team qualified for Europe's premier club competition for the first time last season, and the president is determined to come back stronger next time.
De Laurentiis told Corriere dello Sport: "On a structural level, I would like to be able to drag the club on a par with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
"I had the chance to speak with mayor Luigi De Magistriis, whom I will meet again on Friday. We will discuss the stadium the necessary and desirable course of action."
Coppa Italia holders Napoli will meet reigning champions Juventus in the Supercoppa Italia in Beijing on August 11.
