Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has claimed that he is an easy target for referees following his dismissal in Sunday's La Liga win over Rayo Vallecano.
The Spaniard received two yellow cards within a minute of each other at the Santiago Bernabeu after he had headed his side into a 2-0 lead with 12 minutes on the clock.
His first was for a clumsy trip on Roberto Trashorras before a second came moments later for deliberate handball.
"I am hurt by the situation," Ramos told AS. "It is not normal for me to be sent off within two minutes. I'm not one to come in with hard tackles or to do something evil. It's easy to send off Sergio Ramos. It's worrying."
Sunday's red card was the 16th of Ramos's professional career.
