Arsenal target Angel di Maria rules out Real Madrid exit

Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria says that he does not want to leave the club this summer following reported interest from Arsenal.

Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria has insisted that he has no intentions of leaving the Bernabeu this summer, despite reported interest from Arsenal.

The Gunners are under pressure to spend in the final five days of the transfer window due to their failure to land their big-name targets, including Gonzalo Higuain and Luiz Gustavo.

While Arsenal are said to be keen on signing Di Maria, the Argentina international has told Spanish newspaper AS that he will honour his contract, which expires in 2018.

Di Maria's teammate Karim Benzema, who has also been linked with a move to Arsenal, is believed to be unwilling to leave Madrid.
