Young centre-forward Alvaro Morata says that he is planning to continue his career with Real Madrid.

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has insisted that he will stay with the club beyond the summer transfer window.

Recent reports had suggested that the 20-year-old would ask for a move away from the Bernabeu in a bid to secure regular starting action elsewhere.

However, following a conversation with club president Florentino Perez, the frontman has admitted that his future remains with Los Blancos.

"I called the president and he told me that I will stay at Real Madrid next season. He is very happy with me," he told Cadena SER.

Morata was speaking after he had been confirmed as the Golden Boot winner at the European Under-21 Championships in Israel.
