Real Madrid have appeared to move to play down claims that they have made an offer for Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe.
Reports in France on Monday suggested that Real had Mbappe in their sights as part of a record-breaking £240m swoop.
Mbappe is said to have emerged as Zinedine Zidane's top summer transfer target and Los Blancos chiefs are also keen to bring in a 'galactico' signing - a category Mbappe fits into.
According to Marca, however, Real have "categorically rejected any speculation" that the World Cup winner is on their radar.
Zidane and president Florentino Perez are reported to have held plenty of discussions over possible new recruits, but Mbappe has not been a subject of their conversations.
Liverpool's Sadio Mane is believed to be a target for the reigning European champions, though, as is Chelsea's Eden Hazard.
