New Championship side MK Dons have scored three first-half goals as they lead Rotherham United 3-1 on the opening day of the new season.
The Dons made a dream start as they took the lead in the fifth minute when Rob Hall converted a Dean Bowditch cross at the back post from close range.
However, Rotherham equalised less than 10 minutes later as Chris Maguire's cross was headed in by Matt Derbyshire.
The away side continued to threaten on the counter-attack as Ben Reeves tested Kelle Roos from the edge of the box following a swift move.
However, Rotherham were also dangerous going forward as Derbyshire was put through on goal, but his shot was deflected onto the crossbar.
Seconds later, the striker was left all alone in the box, but he was denied by David Martin once again, before Aiden White found him at the back post but his header went over.
The hosts may have been on top, but they fell behind a few minutes later as new centre-back Danny Collins diverted a cross past his own keeper and into the net.
Things got better minutes later as Reeves found Bowditch, and he smashed the ball through the keeper to open up a two-goal lead.
New striker Sam Gallagher almost helped himself to a fourth for the visitors when he went close with a low shot, as the game edged towards half time.
