The Brazilian, 32, scored 23 goals in 118 games for the Saints after arriving at St Mary's Stadium from Cesena in 2011.

Jonathan Forte and Lee Barnard have also left the club after seeing their contracts come to an end.

Meanwhile, youngsters Cody Cropper, Lloyd Isgrove, Sam McQueen, Omar Rowe and Jake Sinclair have all been offered new deals.
