Sports Mole previews the Olympic Group D clash between Spain and Morocco.

Spain, considered by many as favourites for the competition, have already been eliminated following back-to-back defeats to Japan and Honduras – therefore they will play for pride against Morocco on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the African outfit still have a mathematical chance of making the latter stages, but they would have to defeat Spain and hope that Japan beat Honduras.

The last Olympic clash between the two sides took place in 2000 when Spain recorded a 2-0 win, while Spain have never lost an international senior match to Morocco.

Spain boss Luis Milla could make a host of changes to his starting side for their last match of the tournament, with Cristian Tello expected to begin in attack.

Meanwhile, Morocco are expected to name their strongest outfit as they bid for a place in the latter stages of the tournament.

Possible lineups:

Spain: De Gea; Montoya, Botia, Dominguez, Alba; Romeu, Martinez, Herrera; Tello, Muniain, Adrian

Morocco: Amsif; Aberhoun, El Kaoutari, Jebbour; Noussir, Labayd, Fettouhi, Abdel, Kharja; Amrabat, Bidaoui

Sports Mole says: 2-0
