Harry Redknapp is pleased with his side's performance in their 0-0 draw against PAOK Salonika in Greece, despite being denied a penalty.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has said that he is pleased with his side's performance in their goalless draw against PAOK Salonika in Greece.

Redknapp played a number of youngsters in the Europa League group stage match, but he said that it was a good experience for them.

"I was pleased with the performance, particularly in the first half. We kept the ball well," he said.

"That was an intimidating atmosphere out there tonight. It was fantastic. You don't get that in many places in the world.

"The young players have never seen that before and it must have been a difficult experience for them, but I thought they coped very well."

Redknapp was also left disappointed when his team weren't awarded a penalty after Harry Kane looked to have been tripped inside the area, with the striker instead booked for diving.

"I thought it was a penalty. I've seen a replay, it was a foul," he added. "He [Kane] wouldn't go down - it was very harsh to book him. It was a penalty."

The result leaves Spurs third in Group A after Rubin Kazan beat Shamrock Rovers 3-0 in Ireland.
