Mousa Dembele to miss Newcastle United game

Mousa Dembele will miss Tottenham Hotspur's game against Newcastle United on Sunday after picking up a foot injury.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Mousa Dembele will miss Sunday's game against Newcastle United at White Hart Lane.

Dembele has played a key role in the 14-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, but the Belgian will not be available to Mauricio Pochettino due to a foot injury.

Despite the setback of losing the midfielder, Pochettino is likely to start Eric Dier after he was taken off as a precaution in the first half of the victory over Monaco on Thursday.

Clinton Njie will also miss out for the hosts after picking up a knee problem.
