Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has reportedly become the third-choice coach to take over at Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are searching for a new boss to succeed Jose Mourinho, who will take charge of his final Real match this weekend.
While there have been no indications from Villas-Boas's camp that the coach would leave White Hart Lane, it is understood that Real have placed him behind Carlo Ancelotti and Jupp Heynckes in their wishlist, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
The 35-year-old narrowly missed out on guiding Spurs to Champions League qualification in his first season in charge.
