Tottenham Hotspur's Jermain Defoe has admitted that he is revelling in the pressure of the title race this season.
Spurs find themselves in with a chance of winning the league for the first time in recent history and Defoe claims that he is enjoying the added expectations placed on his shoulders.
The England striker told The Mirror: "I'm loving the pressure, it's like playing tournament football for England, when everyone is pinning their hopes on you to make the breakthrough.
"It means I have to make sure my preparation is right, that my attitude is right. Because I know how much it means to so many people."
Defoe netted the winner in Spurs' 1-0 victory over West Brom at White Hart Lane on Tuesday evening.
