Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel says that he will assess his future at the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel has admitted that he is unsure whether he will continue at the top level next season.

The 41-year-old's spot as Spurs' first-choice stopper is under threat this season after the arrival of French number one Hugo Lloris, but thus far the American has kept his place in the team.

However, the former Liverpool keeper has revealed that he will make a decision on his future at the end of the current season.

"I'm definitely looking at all the possibilities for next season," he told Sports Illustrated.

Friedel made 82 appearances for the United States.
