Zeki Fryers: 'Stoke City will be difficult to beat'

Tottenham Hotspur defender Zeki Fryers believes that Stoke City will be difficult to beat this weekend.

Zeki Fryers has said that it will be "difficult to win" when Tottenham Hotspur face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium this weekend.

Spurs have recovered from a run of three defeats in four matches last month to win two of their last three outings in the Premier League, but face a Stoke side who have lost just twice at home this season on Saturday.

The defender told the club's website: "Obviously we conceded in the first half against Fulham in a disappointing manner but overall we were strong and stable as a team.

"Now we go to Stoke, who are a good side. They're a strong team and I know from watching other clubs go there that it's difficult to win there.

"They make it hard for opposing teams so we've got a big challenge at the weekend and we're looking forward to it."

Spurs currently sit sixth in the Premier League table, while Stoke are 10th.
