Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper says that on-loan Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard will be given a "nasty fine".

Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper has said that on-loan Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard will be given a "nasty fine" for his sending-off during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Bristol City.

The 20-year-old was shown a straight red card in the 55th minute of the match at Ashton Gate for a two-handed push on Wade Elliott, who had just fouled him.

Cooper told reporters: "Pritch took a couple of heavy tackles, but he has not given the referee any option with his reaction and hopefully he will learn from what happened. He will receive a nasty fine.

"But, in fairness to him, he waited by the dressing room door and shook everyone's hand at the end, saying how sorry he was."

Pritchard, who has yet to make a senior appearance for Spurs, has scored seven goals in 39 games for Swindon this season.
