Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes will reportedly undergo a medical with Tottenham Hotspur on Monday ahead of joining the Premier League club on loan.
Manchester United, Everton and West Ham United have all been linked with moves for the 21-year-old, who has made 59 appearances for his Portuguese club in all competitions.
However, Spurs have quickly emerged as the favourites to sign the midfielder, and it appears that Jose Mourinho's side are closing in on a deal.
According to the Daily Mail, Fernandes is expected to arrive in London on Monday before undergoing a medical with Tottenham.
The report claims that two-time Portugal international will sign an 18-month loan deal which will include the option of a permanent transfer.
Fernandes has only made 13 appearances at club level during the 2019-20 campaign having allegedly fallen out with Eagles boss Bruno Lage.
