Lewis Holtby hints at Bundesliga return

Tottenham Hotspur's German international Lewis Holtby says that he would never rule out the chance of him rejoining a club in the Bundesliga.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby has refused to rule out the possibility of returning to the Bundesliga.

The 23-year-old only joined Spurs from Schalke 04 back in January.

However, having featured mainly as a substitute in the Premier League this term, recent reports have linked him with a switch back to Germany.

"I would never rule out a move back to the Bundesliga," he told Bild am Sonntag.

"I was having a great time at Schalke, even if things looked different in that final phase of my stay there. In football things can happen very fast."

Holtby has scored a total of three goals in all competitions so far this season.
