Report: Borussia Dortmund join Roberto Soldado race

A report claims that Borussia Dortmund want to sign Roberto Soldado from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly joined the race for Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado.

The Spanish international moved to White Hart Lane from Valencia in the summer of 2013, but he has struggled to produce his best form in England.

During the 2014-15 campaign, the 30-year-old hit just five goals in 40 matches, with just one of those strikes occurring in the Premier League.

Sevilla had reportedly been close to bringing the striker back to Spain, but according to Sport Mediaset, Dortmund are now preparing an £8.5m bid.

Soldado netted 81 goals in 141 games for Valencia between 2010 and 2013.
