Tottenham Hotspur 'cool interest in Juan Foyth'

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly end their pursuit of Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly cooled their interest in signing Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino believes that the Argentina Under-20 international's price tag is too high, according to Sky Sports News.

Estudiantes are said to value the 19-year-old, who has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Roma, at more than £8m.

Spurs are reportedly in the market for a central defender amid rumours that Kevin Wimmer wants to leave the club, with Pochettino willing to let him go for the right price.

Tottenham are yet to recruit this summer, and recently sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City in a deal worth more than £50m.
