Tottenham Hotspur will reignite their interest in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic next year, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly reignite their interest in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic next year.

Spurs were strongly linked with the Serbia international during the summer transfer window, while Manchester City are also thought to have been keen on a deal for the centre-forward.

The transfer window closed with the 21-year-old still at Fiorentina, but the speculation surrounding his future is again gathering pace, with La Viola president Rocco Commisso recently admitting that he could not guarantee Vlahovic would sign a new deal at the club.

According to Calciomercato, Tottenham will 'certainly return' for the striker in 2022, although the North London club are likely to have to pay in the region of €70m (£60m) for his services.

The report claims that Atletico Madrid are also interested in Vlahovic and could make their own move either in January or at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Serbian scored 21 Serie A goals for La Viola last term and has also started the new season in impressive fashion, finding the back of the net on five occasions in six appearances in all competitions.
