Victor Wanyama will reportedly not be leaving Tottenham Hotspur on transfer deadline day.
The 28-year-old has only made four appearances for Spurs during the 2019-20 campaign and has not been involved in a Premier League squad since Jose Mourinho arrived as head coach.
The Kenya international had been expected to leave Spurs ahead of Friday night's transfer deadline, but according to the Daily Mail, the midfielder will now be staying at the club until at least the end of the season.
The report claims that French outfit Amiens and Spanish side Leganes have both failed with loan offers for the former Southampton player on deadline day.
Wanyama has also been linked with a return to Scottish champions Celtic although his £65,000-a-week wages have proved problematic when it comes to securing an exit.
The midfielder has 18 months left to run on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
