Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is given a boost by Charlie Adam as the midfielder recovers from an illness to start against Swansea City.

Charlie Adam has recovered from an illness to be included in the Stoke City team to face Swansea City this afternoon.

The Scotland international was substituted against Chelsea last weekend because of the problem but will join Steven N'Zonzi and Glen Whelan in the Potters midfield.

Tony Pulis has named Peter Crouch, Michael Kightly and Jonathan Walters in an attacking team for the contest at the Britannia Stadium.

Swansea welcome back Nathan Dyer and Chico Flores after the duo served their respective suspensions and Ashley Williams has also proved his fitness to captain the Welsh side.

Stoke City: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Wilson, Walters, Whelan, Nzonzi, Adam, Kightly, Crouch

Swansea City: Vorm, Rangel, Williams, Chico, Davies, Britton, Ki, Dyer, Hernandez, Michu, Graham
