Xherdan Shaqiri has revealed that he will discuss his future with Stoke City at the end of the season.

The Switzerland international has been in impressive form for the Potters this season - scoring seven times and registering six assists in 34 Premier League appearances.

The 26-year-old has been widely tipped to move on if Stoke are relegated from the top flight, but the attacker is not interested in talking about his future until the 2017-18 campaign has been completed.

"Everybody knows I am a player who wants to play at the highest level - this is pretty normal," Shaqiri told reporters.

"But I have still two years contract with this club. We have to see first what happens here. I am happy here at the moment, and I have still two years contract. We will sit down after the season.

"For me, I focus now only on these two games [that Stoke have remaining this season] and try to keep this club up with my team. That is the most important thing at the moment."

Stoke are currently 19th in the Premier League table - three points off 17th-placed Swansea City ahead of their home game with Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
