Sunderland forward Stephen Sessegnon has told his teammates that they must stay focused ahead of Saturday's important Premier League clash with Southampton.
The 16th-placed Black Cats go into Saturday's match at St Mary's just one point ahead of their fellow strugglers.
"The spirit is still good in the squad though, as it has been all season," Sessegnon told the Sunderland Echo.
"We must go to Southampton with confidence and try to take positives from the second half at [Manchester] United. We need lots of desire and aggression, while keeping our heads, and it's a game we can win, as we think in all games."
Sessegnon has scored three goals in all competitions for Sunderland this season.
