Alan Pardew makes five changes to his side ahead of Newcastle United's clash with Sunderland on Sunday afternoon.

Alan Pardew has made five changes to his Newcastle United side ahead of the Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland in the Premier League.

The Magpies are looking for a win to boost their morale following the exit from the Europa League at the hands of Benfica.

Steven Taylor returns in defence, while manager Pardew also recalls Cheick Tiote, Mathieu Debuchy, Yoan Gouffran and Sylvain Marveaux.

Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio replaces Matthew Kilgallon with Carlos Cuellar and the Italian has also recalled James McClean and Danny Graham.
