Gylfi Sigurdsson has announced his intention to join Swansea City on a permanent deal at the end of the current season.
The Icelandic midfielder has been in good form for Brendan Rodgers's side since joining on loan from Hoffenheim and the 22-year-old admits that he would like to remain at the club.
Sigurdsson said: ""I'm enjoying football here and as I've always said it's not up to me.
"I've got another couple of seasons on my contract [at Hoffenheim].
"I'm really enjoying my football here in England and hopefully I can stay in the Premier League. It's down to Swansea and Hoffenheim what happens."
Sigurdsson scored during Saturday's 3-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers.
