Preview: Swansea City vs. Fulham

Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Premier League clash between Swansea City and Fulham at the Liberty Stadium.

Fulham will attempt to pull Swansea City deeper into the Premier League relegation battle when they travel to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The home side have taken just one point from their last six league games, with that run of form leaving them in 15th position in the table, just three points off the bottom three.

Swansea's home form has also been disappointing this season with five defeats and just two wins from their 11 matches on their own patch.

Meanwhile, Fulham sit in 17th position on 19 points. They have lost their last two matches in the league, but would move ahead of their opponents on Tuesday with victory.

That said, the London outfit have lost eight of their 11 league games on their travels this campaign, scoring just eight times in the process and conceding 26.

The corresponding match last season ended in a 3-0 win for Fulham, but Swansea were 2-1 winners when they travelled to Craven Cottage earlier in the campaign.

Swansea will have Spanish winger Pablo Hernandez to call upon in the league for the first time since New Year's Day after the former Valencia attacker recovered from a hamstring injury, but key trio Jonathan de Guzman, Nathan Dyer and Jonjo Shelvey are all expected to miss out.

Leading scorer from last season Michu also remains on the sidelines, but in-form Wilfried Bony will lead the line for the Welsh outfit.

Fulham, meanwhile, will ring the chances from their 1-1 draw in the FA Cup with Sheffield United.

That will mean returns for the likes of Scott Parker, Steve Sidwell, Dimitar Berbatov and Clint Dempsey, while fit-again skipper Brede Hangeland could also start.
