Wissam Ben Yedder bags a brace to see Toulouse end the season with a 2-0 win over dethroned champions Montpellier HSC.

Toulouse have ended their Ligue 1 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Montpellier HSC at the Stadium Municipal.

The hosts took the lead in just the second minute of the game. Adrien Rabiot provided the through-ball for Wissam Ben Yedder to fire past Geoffrey Jourdren.

He then made it 2-0 by capping a fast break, with Rabiot once again the provider.

La Pallaide pushed forward in the second half, but Ali Ahamada was in inspired form, denying Souleymane Camara and Jonas Martin late in the game.

Heroic defending also prevented Emanuel Herrera and Cyril Jeunechamp from levelling the scores.

Le Tef managed to hold on for three points, which sees them finish in the top half of Ligue 1.
