Arsenal are understood to be keen on signing Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue in the summer.
The Gunners are believed to have failed with a late bid for the 24-year-old French international during the January transfer window.
However, manager Arsene Wenger is now determined to get his man in time for next season, according to The Telegraph.
Capoue signed his first professional contract with Toulouse in 2007 following a two-year spell in the club's youth academy.
