Harry Kewell had admitted that he has been frustrated in his search for a new a club and wants to play in England again.
The Australian international enjoyed a prolific eight-year spell with Leeds United before a move to Liverpool.
Kewell struggled with injuries throughout his time at Anfield and has since played for Galatasaray and Melbourne Victory.
The 33-year-old is now living back in England and is desperate to find a new club.
Kewell told The Telegraph: "My biggest problem is that no-one, especially in England, has seen me for four years because I've been away.
"It's very difficult. I'm twiddling my thumbs. I'm working and training but don't know what I'm doing. I'd love to be playing back in England to get a feel for that again. Whether it happens or not is another question."
Kewell has been linked with a host of English clubs including Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough and Swindon Town.
