Wales beat Norway 4-1 in a friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Gary Speed's Dragons beat Norway 4-1 in a friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon.

Tottenham's Gareth Bale found Steve Morison's ball to put the home side ahead after ten minutes, with a left-footed shot that beat Norwegian keeper Rune Almenning Jarstein at his near post.

Five minutes later, Craig Bellamy doubled their lead after a long run. The Liverpool striker cut in from the left and curled his shot into the top corner from outside the area.

Wales keeper Wayne Hennessey was unable to keep the visitors out in the second half. The Wolves man dropped a cross in front of midfielder Erik Huseklepp, who was able to tap it in from close range just after the hour.

However, substitute Sam Vokes was able to put the game out of reach in the final five minutes, when he scored two goals inside a minute to seal the win.
